History: Uthemar lived on a farm with his father, near the main road leading to a nearby town. Because his father participated in the massacre of their homeland, giants burned their ranch to the ground and forced them out. He was preparing to flee to the east, but the outbreak of war prevented him and his mother from journeying east to reunite his family. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to giants demanding more tribute than usual.

History: A studious child he never was much for a social life, not because he was unlikable, but because he did not seek it out. He was taken from his home at a very young age. Due to his spouse's obsession with being a Carter they were divorced and he won custody of their son. He worked as a Sage, and he later adopted a second son.

Personality: He's a bit of a prankster. He knows he is clumsy and seen as such and will often feign amnesia after injury. He believes the world needs to unite to get rid of brigands once and for all.

History: The child of northern immigrants he idolized his mother. He was an adventurer many years ago and he formed a blood bond with his Elven companion (his 'brother'). Lacking all sense, he decided to go on an adventure. He picked a direction and started trekking.

Personality: Soveliss is depressed about a lot of things. He tends to be a nihilist. When triggered he is a bloodthirsty maniac, stopping at nothing and killing everything for almost an hour.

History: Heir to a fortune, his parents put a great deal of effort into curing his disease. At a young age both his parents were killed in an accident. His uncle (a powerful person with enemies on both sides of the law) took him in and had him trained in basic self defense. He is untrained/undisciplined, which makes him dangerous.

Motivation: He has decided he is irredeemable.
