To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Rolen. He then took over the family business and is one of the better Soapmaker for hire.

History: Dayereth was born the youngest of three triplets. He helped his father out around the business and became quite the natural. He remains aloof and afraid to be himself due to all the ideals others have placed upon him.

Personality: Prone to second guessing himself, he comes off as nervous. His respect, as difficult as one would find it to earn, is unwavering; those who more than prove themselves to him, a bar set well above any reasonable standard, he tolerates in varying degrees. Though less modest and more hasty in his reactions to snap at those who irritate him, Beiro is combative with any and all who dare try his patience in the slightest.

History: He was born several months after his mother was called into army service. His mother was a soldier and died while he was still young. Beiro was left his mother's suit of armor and trained in its use and care. He ran away from his former home and has been making his living as a Laborer for the past few years.

History: Thervan was raised in a hard working conservative environment. His homeland was ravaged by war and he spent much of his life rebuilding it. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Personality: This man loves writing and to teach people writing more than just about anything. Beiro is a bit of a follower. Usually he is manipulated by his brothers into helping them out, but recently he has become more of a free agent.

History: He was born in the east, but his parents moved at a very young age to the north. He has had some formal writing training, and achieved minor success. He guards a vault combo very seriously as well as the key needed to open it.

Motivation: Wishes to resurrect an old love; and his relatives are trying to arrange a marriage
