Personality: He is quite gentle and does not know the full extent of his strength. He works very hard to maintain that gentleness. He lacks restraint and is impulsive. He jumps in and acts without thinking all too often.

History: Varis was born to in a poor docking district. He spent his early days working in the same smith shop his father was employed at, doing general labor. His parents died when he was young, and he was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. Varis grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Varis. Recently he has begun working with bootleggers and crooks.

History: He was born in the east, but his parents moved at a very young age to the south. He found a children's book about a Elf Sorcerer who fought for good and justice and never realised it was just a child's story. He modeled his life after the story, seeing himself destined a hero. He has dedicated himself to building a better trade route.

Motivation: He's looking for his big break; and several ex partners dislike his way of doing things and want revenge
