History: Arannis hails from a village terrorized by gnolls. Arannis was a troubled youth. Arannis decided he wanted neither the life of his mother nor that of the evil petty criminals he associated with. During his early adolescence, he took a sudden opportunity while working the docks and commandeered a vessel that was left unmanned. Being a Sellsword kept his interest for a while, but then he became depressed and bored. So he turned to a secret life of crime, taking increasingly more risks and challenges.

Motivation: Balancing his hectic life and new Navigator responsibilities is difficult; and doesn't want to be a navigator and was forced into it by his family

History: He was born several months after his father was called into army service. He found a children's book about a Elf Sorcerer who fought for good and justice and never realised it was just a child's story. He modeled his life after the story, seeing himself destined a hero. He now travels the world, in search of power and loot.

Motivation: Wants a kiss; and he desires power and/or immortality

History: He was born in the south, but his parents moved at a very young age to the east. A gypsy cursed him at a young age, leading to his ugly appearance. He left for the south, certain he would find work there.

Motivation: Nothing but the best is good enough for him.

History: He grew up in a lower middle class home, but living comfortably wasn't enough. His parents died when he was young, and he was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. Tharivol grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Tharivol. He used his abilities to travel the world and help people.

Motivation: He has comitted a past crime that haunts him to this day; and to find somewhere to settle down
