His father taught him the rudiments of the Barrister arts, while his mother instructed him in etiquette, music and courtly manner. He worked as a nervous Barrister and found it very stressful. He has never given up on his poetry dream.

Personality: He is almost excessively polite to everyone, even when angry. He moves from fascination to fascination almost instantaneously. If something can keep his interest for a month it is impressive.

History: Sold as a small child to a necromancer, Gennal was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. He couldn't stand his childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with his mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. He left for the west, certain he would find work there.
