The war was a terrible time for him, and Carrie does not often speak of it. When he does, he does so with a strained expression and tears in his eyes.

History: Born in the west his family was never financially stable. When Carrie reached his early adolescence his Elf mother passed away. Feeling disconnected from the small nearby village afterwards, he decided to travel. His rounds led him into the Army with a few individuals who would become his life-long companions. One night he noticed a nearby shooting star which he hiked out to see where it landed. It turned out to be an ancient artifact of some kind. He has done his darndest to repair it but it is currently non-functional.

Personality: He tends to agree with only himself unless someone else's opinion sounds like he can profit from it. He tries to control his temper but he can't always stop himself from what he feels what must be done. He is lazy and tries to find solutions quickly.

History: Born in the south to a Spice Merchant, Aelar learned a great deal about his father's area of expertise. A gifted student he started as a Server, but he got bored and became a Spice Merchant. He's also a talented Server, but doesn't like to broadcast it.

Motivation: Balancing his hectic life and new Spice Merchant responsibilities is difficult; and further expansion of business

History: Born to a Tailor, his mother struggled to pay the bills. His father was supposedly a charlatan fortune teller, but he insists his father was legitimate. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: Wants to have a good time and be beloved; and elven compassion

Personality: He has schizophrenia that causes him to hear things that aren't there and will sometimes respond to them. He misses his home and complains about the freezing weather, even in summer.

History: He was raised in a white middle class family as the only child. A freak accident while working with his Scribe father left him crippled. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: To find somewhere to settle down; and he is content
