History: Varis hails from a village terrorized by dire rats. His parents were killed by dire rats in a raid when he was still a young child. Personality: He is a man who does what he needs to. He will acquiesce to black mail and extortion to avoid trouble. He passes on several rewards to people in need. He makes a point to leave places better than he found them.

History: He was born to a criminal king-pin and mafia family A gypsy cursed him at a young age, leading to his ugly appearance. He used his abilities to trick people and travel the world for free.

Motivation: He will attempt to ambush and attack anyone he thinks he can take on alone and try to knock them out with non-lethal damage. If successful, he will try to sell them to his slave-trader contact; and seeks redemption

Personality: He is mildly Elf supremacist, though he does not identify as such. He will often invite strangers home for dinner and talk their ears off. He cares deeply for his spouse and does his best to make sure his guests look presentable.

History: A powerful brothel owner made him what he is. While studying, he fell in love. They married and had a son. Since then, he has sought to make the best of life.

Personality: He is happy with his job as a Courier. He turns his eye from what people do, preferring to live and let live. He misses his home and complains about the freezing weather, even in summer.

History: He was born in the north. He sought a place where he would be rewarded solely on the merits of his skills. This search led him directly into Courier work with an outfit from a few towns over. Courier work suited him well, and with each successful project, he earned more gold and more respect from his peers. He has achieved small success as a Courier.

Personality: He considers himself the protector of his home. He feels this is his duty and calling. He also has developed a complete distrust of the Ruler profession.

History: Sold as a small child to a wizard, Koeth was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. His parents died when he was young, and he was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. Koeth grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Koeth. He has gone from town to town till he finds a spot where he can set up a sustainable business.
