His mother taught him the rudiments of the Assassin arts, while his father instructed him in etiquette, music and courtly manner. His family was being driven out of business by several neighboring competitors. The mother sought out extralegal help and others began closing their doors. He saw this and took pride in his mother's willingness to do anything to win. He has recently gotten a pet goose that steals things from people.

History: Raised by wardens he was only a novice when dire rats swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. He went to a religious school and was inspired by the priests there in charitable deeds. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.
