He was preparing to flee to the north, but the outbreak of war prevented him and his father from journeying north to reunite his family. He remains aloof and afraid to be himself due to all the ideals others have placed upon him.

Description: This eastern man's face is deformed and paralyzed on one side. As such, he slurs his words together. He wears baggy grey pantaloons and a white scarf. His silver hair is lengthy. His face possesses mild wrinkles. His smile is extraordinarily sincere though he does not smile often.

Personality: Lucan hangs on like a leech to those who appreciate him. It was this clingy personality that held back his writing career. He is able to fit into much smaller and tighter spaces than normal.

History: He was born in the east. A gifted student he started as a Barkeep, but he got bored and became a Slave Trader. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Personality: He dislikes all the random violence that takes place in the south. He has all his life been fascinated with writing.

History: Born to a Farmer, his mother struggled to pay the bills. He has had some formal writing training, and achieved minor success. He has never given up on his writing dream.

Motivation: He feels that his past leaves him morally obligated to help; and nothing but the best is good enough for him

Description: He wears grey robes with leather pauldrons. Though occasionally he wears more armor. He prefers to carry a crossbow, but if one is not available he will default to his dagger. His attire stands in sharp contrast to his dagger, which is beautifully polished and possesses an ornate carving of a card on it. He has done his best to style his chestnut hair to look like a famous performer. His eyes, though not visible through his cowl, are amber.

Personality: He has two modes he varies between. On the job he is cold, steely and emotionless. Off the job he is a party animal. He is used to getting what he wants. In part because he is a meticulous planner.

History: He is a Yochlol in disguise. When he came of age, he joined a caravan that would eventually take him to the capital. He would practice along the way and, when he arrived, be apprenticed to a Carter. He eventually got the idea of being the protector of his homeland from reading books, and has made it his duty.

Motivation: To reunite with his old friends.

Description: This malnourished man wears dark leathers with embroidery. With a patchy chestnut beard and wild chestnut hair. His blue eyes are slightly larger than normal.

Personality: Friendly and accommodating he would invite many more into his home than his spouse would be comfortable with if they did not express concern about it. He has a small toy that he constantly fidgets with.

History: The child of a Priest, who enjoyed hunting, Erevan was taken on many hunting expeditions. There was a wharf not far from home where he often wandered off to fish. He bought a quarterstaff and has really upped his game hunting, due to his understanding of decoy and ambush.

Motivation: To share knowledge with the world.
