History: Korfel hails from a village terrorized by gnolls. While studying, he fell in love. They married and had a daughter. History: Laucian hails from a village terrorized by giants. His parents divorced when he was young, and his mother gained full cudstody. He was regularly beaten by his mother, who blamed him for driving them apart. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to giants demanding more tribute than usual.
