He was regularly beaten by his mother, who blamed him for driving them apart. After a long history of fighting, Vanuath and his spouse have recently divorced.

History: He was born blind and as such lacked many opportunities for work. History: Paelias was born into a poor family. Growing up, he dreamt of becoming a Sorcerer, to bring honor to his family’s name.
