History: Born in the south to a Scribe, Heian learned a great deal about his mother's area of expertise. He was one of the best in his class, and was picked up by his current employer. History: Aust was raised in a hard working conservative environment. He struck it rich when he found rare goods in large quantities. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

Personality: He believes there is no problem he cannot solve with sufficient elbow grease and persistence, if it is the best or most economic solution matters not. Around other people he will do his best to conceal his emotions and appear jolly.

History: Raised by wardens he was only a novice when gnolls swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. His mother was supposedly a charlatan fortune teller, but he insists his mother was legitimate. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.
