History: Heian was born to in a poor docking district. He spent his early days working in the same smith shop his father was employed at, doing general labor. His parents died when he was young, and he was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. Heian grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Heian. He has made many enemies by not giving into corruption and outing many instances of it.

History: He was born in a small plains village. He found a children's book about a Elf Sorcerer who fought for good and justice and never realised it was just a child's story. He modeled his life after the story, seeing himself destined a hero. He spent several years traveling with his friend, before both settled down to enjoy the fruits of their adventures.

History: Sold as a small child to a necromancer, Koeth was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. He has had some formal singing training, and achieved minor success. He has built up a small fortune and can afford his own way.
