Personality: He takes his job very seriously, in part because he fears he cannot get a new one. He is kind towards other men and children and will generally offer men help without question. Others will generally need to prove themselves to him.

History: He got into the Shepherd business at a young age. When he came of age, he joined a caravan that would eventually take him to the capital. He would practice along the way and, when he arrived, be apprenticed to a Shepherd. He struck the Shepherd job and began his own company from there.

Personality: He cares much about the opinion of others, both in good and in bad: when keeping in line with his opinion, he thinks highly of the other person, but when opinions clash, he can get violently argumentative. He is fiercely devoted to his father, and views his father's ex-spouse as an evil person for separating him from his legal half-sister.

History: Thervan was raised in a hard working conservative environment. Like his father and his sister before him, after school he went straight into learning to become a Healer. He has drifted from career to career and currently works as a Healer.

Motivation: Doesn't want to be a Healer and was forced into it by his family; and marry his sister to traveling adventurers

History: He was born several months after his father was called into army service. He worked as a nervous Hunter and found it very stressful. As of late he has set up a hidden staging nest where he ambushes people he hires for escort.

Motivation: A rival would like him out of the picture.

Description: A well shaped man just over fifty, he is wearing the road beaten gear of a warrior. He is bald on top and has large auburn tufts of hair around his ears. His violet eyes dart from person to person to random spaces in the air.

Personality: He is always cheerful, even with a hangover, and is always willing to go through all sorts of trouble to help his friends. He considers everything a fun event and doesn't hold grudges. He is obsessed with finding treasure.

History: Laucian was born in the east. At a young age he loved to build and create. Laucian was born on a far eastern island where he grew up under the tutelage of his father, an expert Ploughman. When he grew older, he became a bit more civilized, usually hanging around bars and taverns. He began work as a mercenary for hire. He would embark on any mission as long as the price was right.

History: His father raised him in a mountain cabin. Over the years he perfected his riding and shooting skills. He has drifted apart from his friends and has been working freelance. Each gave each other a copy of their signature rapier.
