History: Heian was born in the west. At a young age he loved to build and create. Because his mother participated in the massacre of their homeland, brigands burned their ranch to the ground and forced them out. He was preparing to flee to the west, but the outbreak of war prevented him and his father from journeying west to reunite his family. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to brigands demanding more tribute than usual.

History: Sold as a small child to a necromancer, Aerdeth was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. He helped his father out around the business and became quite the natural. He now owns his own business.

History: His arcane talent manifested at a young age. Aiming to upstage a rival house, his parents had him trained. His father took him hunting and taught him how to get in the mind of other creatures. He now travels the world, in search of power and loot.

History: A child with a great deal of writing talent his parents made sure he got the chance to thrive. He has had some formal writing training, and achieved minor success. He has drifted apart from his friends and has been working freelance. Each gave each other a copy of their signature hammer.
