History: His psionic talent manifested at a young age. Aiming to upstage a rival house, his parents had him trained. In his 13th year, while out on a day-trip, he returned to find his hometown burning and destroyed. He found his mother impaled in their home, and his father beheaded. He saw the man who walked out, and charged him in a blind rage. The man easily evaded and defeated him, leaving him to live broken and terrified. He left for the east, certain he would find work there.

Personality: He is almost excessively polite to everyone, even when angry. The war was a terrible time for him, and Adran does not often speak of it. When he does, he does so with a strained expression and tears in his eyes.

History: When he was but 5 years old his parents immigrated from the west. Adran was born on a far western island where he grew up under the tutelage of his father, an expert Cartwright. He moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.
