He saw the brutality and swore off his fighting aspirations, taking his younger sister on his back after seeing his parents die, and fled the country. He bought a scythe and has really upped his game hunting, due to his understanding of decoy and ambush.

A notion that was reinforced by his attractiveness, a trait in which he easily excels the other men of his town. He has made many enemies by not giving into corruption and outing many instances of it.
