Paelias decided he wanted neither the life of his father nor that of the evil petty criminals he associated with. During his early adolescence, he took a sudden opportunity while working the docks and commandeered a vessel that was left unmanned. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

History: He was born in the east, but his parents moved at a very young age to the north. His father was supposedly a charlatan fortune teller, but he insists his father was legitimate. He remains aloof and afraid to be himself due to all the ideals others have placed upon him.

History: He was always a brilliant, if unscrupulous mind. He worked as a nervous Carter and found it very stressful. Recently the stress of being a Carter has made it difficult for him to sleep.
