History: He was raised happily, as a normal child born to his mother and father. His mother taught him the rudiments of the Shepherd arts, while his father instructed him in etiquette, music and courtly manner. Being born in the south, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the south for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way east. He struck the Shepherd job and began his own company from there.

History: Raised by wardens he was only a novice when dire rats swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. In his 17th year, his parents were killed by a dire rats raid, leaving Naeris alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. Days after completing his studies, news broke out that his hometown was attacked by dire rats. Naeris was horrified and prayed that his father was alright. However, he heard that his father had died fighting off the dire rats.
