Personality: He is a Detective first and foremost. He believes firmly that knowledge should be universal. He has a cruel streak; something he gained from his previous mentor. He harbors resentment against his former mentor.

History: Sold as a small child to a wizard, Rolen was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. His parents divorced when he was young, and his father gained full cudstody. He was regularly beaten by his father, who blamed him for driving them apart. He then took over the family business and is one of the better Detective for hire.

Personality: He will rave to anyone who will listen. He has the money to obtain near anything and knows that if you pay a man enough he will sell his own mother. Money is his most trusted friend.

History: His parents moved while he was still in utero so he is the first generation to be born here. From there he went from mercenary job to mercenary job. He spent several years traveling with his friend, before both settled down to enjoy the fruits of their adventures.

History: He was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of his parents. When he came of age, he joined a caravan that would eventually take him to the capital. He would practice along the way and, when he arrived, be apprenticed to a Layabout. He was granted divine powers by his dying brother.

Personality: He is a very happy person and has lots of energy. To put it simply, he's a very lovable idiot. He loves his children and doesn't want them to worry about him. He loves to share his poetry with anyone who is interested.

History: Rael lived on a farm with his father, near the main road leading to a nearby town. He moved from fad to fad and when he turned 15 he discovered poetry. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: To reunite with his absent father.
