Personality: He goes out his way to put a smile on everyone's face. There's no-one he won't accept into his heart. He does suffer from mild PTSD, and the sight of dire rats may trigger it at times.

History: He was born on a small isolated farm. In his 18th year, his parents were killed by a dire rats raid, leaving Theren alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to dire rats demanding more tribute than usual.

Description: This slender man stands about 5'2". He wears a large hat to cast shadows over his face and wears ponchos to better hide his body. His white hair is thinning but still full. His eyes are likewise brown. His teeth are yellowed and unaligned.

Personality: The man has a huge range of feeling. He will range from being happy and joking with the occasional self put down to crying stating how he will be a better person from this day on. More though he will beg to come along on any journeys. He will attempt to stowaway on any ship he can in the hopes that it will get him further away.

History: He was born the only child of a wealthy merchant. He helped his mother out around the business and became quite the natural. He has gone from town to town till he finds a spot where he can set up a sustainable business.

Motivation: Sabotage a competitor; and he'd like to take his coworkers down a peg

Personality: He likes to fabricate stories about his past exploits and how crazy he is, but in actuality he is rather bland. When he's not drinking or sleeping the drinks off, he's doing music.

History: A powerful slaver made him what he is. A gypsy cursed him at a young age, leading to his ugly appearance. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: He seems to be bored by most things.

Description: This western man's face is deformed and paralyzed on one side. As such, he slurs his words together. He does not wear sleeves and tends to eschew shirts when he can avoid it. He wears a wide-brimmed hat to hide his balding. His blue eyes lackadaisically let the world flow into them.

Personality: He runs his personal life as if detached from it. He organizes appointments and outings based on perceived benefits he will get from it. Theren enjoys physical pleasures, and is well known for his love of warm baths in the hot springs near the town.

History: Theren was born the youngest of three triplets. When Theren reached his early adolescence his Elf father passed away. Feeling disconnected from the small nearby village afterwards, he decided to travel. His rounds led him into the Army with a few individuals who would become his life-long companions. He has been saving his money to try and buy his sister's freedom.

Motivation: He wants nothing more than to rejoin the army; and find a way to reverse the transformation of his sister

Personality: In the realm of puns, he cannot help himself. He feels obliged to make them. He is vehemently anti-magic. All of it is evil and corrupting in his opinion.

History: When he was but 5 years old his parents immigrated from the south. He has had some formal painting training, and achieved minor success. He has never given up on his painting dream.

Motivation: He has passion for adventuring and risk; and someone believes him a fraud
