History: Sold as a small child to a slaver, Berrian was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. He couldn't stand his childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with his mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. He has set out to sabotage the competition.

He wears his red hair up in a very large beehive style do. His hazel eyes lackadaisically let the world flow into them.

Personality: He is fixated on the number 43. He counts his steps and bites of food to keep in track with it. He seems to be used to being ignored and not questioned about it. He is vehemently anti-magic. All of it is evil and corrupting in his opinion.

History: He served in the navy to pay for his family's outstanding loans. At a young age he wooed the heart of his future spouse and the two had a long relationship before they wed. He has built up a small fortune and can afford his own way.

Description: A pudgy man standing about 4'7" has a big stupid grin on his face most of the time. He does not wear sleeves and tends to eschew shirts when he can avoid it. His broad hat is riddled with cuts and holes. His green eyes dart from person to person.

Personality: A rambunctious noisy drunk he knows how to make people feel guilty. When triggered he is a bloodthirsty maniac, stopping at nothing and killing everything for almost an hour.

History: The child of a Cook, who enjoyed hunting, Laucian was taken on many hunting expeditions. When he was little, his rather wealthy family often ventured across the mountains to a summer home near a ruined castle. He would wander through that ruined castle and adventure through it for days. One day while adventuring a terrible storm took place and he was stranded inside. His family spent the next few days looking for him, and could only assume he was dead when it came time to leave. The family never returned to the mountains due to the painful memories there. Laucian took refuge in the ruined castle and found the beat up flail and armor he uses now. Recently he has begun working with bootleggers and crooks.

History: Ahvain was born to in a poor docking district. He spent his early days working in the same smith shop his mother was employed at, doing general labor. He was an athlete and attended two major summer competitions. He never won. By chance he met his brother recently and the two have been together since.
