Personality: He can speak with the dead, and doesn't see much difference between the living and dead. He is however greedy and will demand payment and proof of collateral's value and will produce a merchant's scale to make sure he is not cheated out of a speck.

History: He was born the only child of a wealthy merchant. He was taken from his home at a very young age. He has been a successful dealer in antiques buying low and selling high.

Personality: He is happy with his job as a Detective. He turns his eye from what people do, preferring to live and let live. He is obsessed with a lost civilization.

History: He was born in the south, but his parents moved at a very young age to the north. At a young age both his parents were killed in an accident. His uncle (a powerful person with enemies on both sides of the law) took him in and had him trained in basic self defense. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: Balancing his hectic life and new Detective responsibilities is difficult.

History: He was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of his parents. His first spouse was a Miller, they had one son, but his spouse won total custody. Without his spouse to temper him he grew out of control. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

His shirts and pants tend to be short and undersized for him due to the difficulty of finding a good tailor. With a patchy chestnut beard and wild chestnut hair. His hazel eyes show the wear and tear of someone lonely with a great burden to carry.

Personality: He is quite gentle and does not know the full extent of his strength. He works very hard to maintain that gentleness. He is a bit of a macho man and will challenge people to random contests of strength and skill, and invite them to random hunting and fishing trip.

History: He was born to a wealthy landowner in a frontier town, living a normal and happy childhood. He was married off to the eldest child of a minor noble. His spouse died of illness and he inherited everything. He bought a sword and has really upped his game hunting, due to his understanding of decoy and ambush.

Motivation: He has money and likes to spend it.
