History: Raised by wardens he was only a novice when goblins swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. His parents died when he was young, and he was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. Theren grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Theren. He has drifted apart from his friends and has been working freelance.
