Personality: His tongue was cut out and he uses sign language. He is vehemently anti-magic. All of it is evil and corrupting in his opinion.

History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Theriatis grew up listening to his father's many stories. His parents died when he was young, and he was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. Theriatis grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Theriatis. During his travels, Theriatis and his party rested in a cavern that was (unknown to them) infused with powerful dark magic. Upon awakening, Theriatis discovered the rest of his party dead, transformed into horrible, mindless undead versions of their former selves. Theriatis fled the cavern, stopping for breath at a small pool, and only then realizing his own horrible transformation.

Motivation: He has passion for adventuring and risk; and he has comitted a past crime that haunts him to this day

Personality: He tends to agree with only himself unless someone else's opinion sounds like he can profit from it. He tries to control his temper but he can't always stop himself from what he feels what must be done. He is very protective of his business, his home, and his spouse. He is willing to work with less than legal methods but maintains the front of legitimacy.

History: A powerful necromancer made him what he is. Before the accident, he was one of the most outspoken anti-Elven activists. He was mortally wounded, saved by a kind and fast-acting Elven doctor. He would ruin relationships and cause injury. He was reprimanded several times before being given his current form and forced to learn humility.

Motivation: Elven compassion; and he possesses a valuable artifact that the thieves guild wishes to steal

Description: His right thumb is blackened and bruised, but otherwise he appears quite healthy. He is bundled in multiple layers and is prepared for a desert trek wearing a turban that covers his face most of the time. His auburn hair is thinning but still full. He has a dull look in his gray eyes.

Personality: He believes there is no problem he cannot solve with sufficient elbow grease and persistence, if it is the best or most economic solution matters not. He has a minor phobia of water and hates getting wet.

History: Theren was born the youngest of three triplets. Being born in the east, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the east for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way north. He has set out to sabotage the competition.

Motivation: He desires power and/or immortality; and sabotage a competitor

Description: A thin man, he clearly needs to put on some weight, but he still has a lot of muscle. He wears tight fighting clothing, which leaves very little to the imagination. His golden hair has been sun bleached extensively. His face possesses mild wrinkles. His smile is extraordinarily sincere though he does not smile often.

Personality: He barks his statements quickly and with little fuss. He prefers small words and is at his heart utilitarian. He constantly seizes attention wherever he goes and has come to expect this respect from everyone. He likes to think of himself as merciful, but nonetheless is very strict.

History: He grew up in a lower middle class home, but living comfortably wasn't enough. Since his mother passed away years ago, his father had doted on him, and he came to think her himself as special and better than other people in town. A notion that was reinforced by his attractiveness, a trait in which he easily excels the other men of his town. Recently a tribe of illithids attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Paelias fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

Motivation: He feels the way he acts is they only way to get by in the world; and he seems to be bored by most things

Personality: He tends to agree with only himself unless someone else's opinion sounds like he can profit from it. He tries to control his temper but he can't always stop himself from what he feels what must be done. More though he will beg to come along on any journeys. He will attempt to stowaway on any ship he can in the hopes that it will get him further away.

History: He served in the navy to pay for his family's outstanding loans. A gypsy cursed him at a young age, leading to his ugly appearance. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.

Motivation: He is currently in port desperately looking for someone to get him out; and he wants nothing more than to rejoin the army
