History: Raised by wardens he was only a novice when illithids swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. When Paelias reached his early adolescence his Elf father passed away. Feeling disconnected from the small nearby village afterwards, he decided to travel. His rounds led him into the Army with a few individuals who would become his life-long companions. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to illithids demanding more tribute than usual.

History: Born to a poor family in the city he treasured whatever gifts he got. Rolen was born on a far eastern forest where he grew up under the tutelage of his mother, an expert Herbalist. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

History: He was born several months after his mother was called into army service. Since his mother passed away years ago, his father had doted on him, and he came to think her himself as special and better than other people in town. A notion that was reinforced by his attractiveness, a trait in which he easily excels the other men of his town. Some 5 years later his spouse died after the birth of his son. Heartbroken, Korfel never married again. Instead he focused his life to raising his son whom he trained as his mother had trained him before.

Personality: He hates Elves with a passion. As such he is filled with self loathing. He cannot deal with unfamiliar people for more than a few minutes at a time and if they persist he will grow angry at them.

History: Born in the east to a Barrister, Erdan learned a great deal about his father's area of expertise. As a young adult he joined a group advocating for an improvement in Elven conditions. He tends to his Barrister job now, and dutifully fulfills any obligations he has.

Motivation: He'd like to take his coworkers down a peg; and he feels that his past leaves him morally obligated to help
