Personality: He takes his job very seriously, in part because he fears he cannot get a new one. To his fellows he is seen as friendly and intelligent, but is angry and unforgiving to the so called fatcats and any who do and have associated with them.

History: Raer was raised in a hard working conservative environment. His spouse left him for another, whom he beat to an almost bloody pulp. He did not win them back, but he came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. He routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.

History: He was born to loving parents in a slum to the east. Like his mother and his brother before him, after school he went straight into learning to become a Soapmaker. He then took over the family business and is one of the better Soapmaker for hire.

Motivation: He is terrified, and will act out of fear; and wants to raise his children well

A notion that was reinforced by his attractiveness, a trait in which he easily excels the other men of his town. He was always very intelligent and has formed a secret society of freemasons.

His hair is long and auburn with streaks of golden, and is pulled back with small white clips. His beard is golden, braided, and well cared for. His green eyes peer out from beneath his small white hat.

Personality: In the realm of puns, he cannot help himself. He feels obliged to make them. He has a minor phobia of water and hates getting wet.

History: Born in the east to a Bookbinder, Rael learned a great deal about his father's area of expertise. His mother was supposedly a charlatan fortune teller, but he insists his mother was legitimate. He tends to his Bookbinder job now, and dutifully fulfills any obligations he has.

Motivation: A rival would like him out of the picture; and he has comitted a past crime that haunts him to this day
