His father had died from a severe disease that was unknown to the village doctor. Heian was heart-stricken from the event, and his mother started working long hours to provde for them. When his spouse passed he lost his only source of income but claims to his daughters to still be retired.

Personality: He considers himself a man of culture and sophistication. He likes a good challenge to his wits. He also has developed a complete distrust of the Healer profession.

History: Varis was raised in a hard working conservative environment. He helped his mother out around the business and became quite the natural. Recently a tribe of gnolls attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Varis fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

Motivation: He feels the way he acts is they only way to get by in the world; and to be a healer again

Personality: He loves telling others what to do and how they should feel about things. As he has aged he has sought to do reparations for his actions as a youth. He is also making sure that his compatriots who never received punishment for their crimes are brought to justice.

History: His history is one of pain. He was disowned by both parents and raised among the slaves his parents kept. He struck it rich when he found rare goods in large quantities. He used his abilities to trick people and travel the world for free.

History: A studious child he never was much for a social life, not because he was unlikable, but because he did not seek it out. Through the years after Fivin was born, his mother became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the south. Fivin's mother didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. After a long history of fighting, Fivin and his spouse have recently divorced.
