In his defense of animals however he would do severe harm to people. Days after completing his studies, news broke out that his hometown was attacked by brigands. Tharivol was horrified and prayed that his mother was alright. However, he heard that his mother had died fighting off the brigands.

Through the years after Korfel was born, his father became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the north. Korfel's father didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. After a long history of fighting, Korfel and his spouse have recently divorced.
