He never won. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.

History: Born in the east to a Shepherd, Arannis learned a great deal about his father's area of expertise. Aside from being a slave or a gladiator, there isn't much legitimate work for Elves in Arannis's homeland. Arannis decided to take the middle way and become a bodyguard. He struck the Shepherd job and began his own company from there.
