When money was particularly tight he was walking through alleys when he overheard a Priest hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. He made his way to the other competitor and parlayed his knowledge into a job. He has since married many spouses, only to have them die. He claims to not be responsible.

History: He served in the navy to pay for his family's outstanding loans. In his formative years he discovered how persuasive he was. He began using that to his advantage selling useless wares at inflated prices. He was always very intelligent and has formed a secret society of philosophers.

When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to giants demanding more tribute than usual.
