He prefers to carry a scimitar, but if one is not available he will default to his crossbow. His long red hair reaches down to his waist. He is missing an eye and his face is severely sunburned. His one remaining eye shines hazel.

Personality: He likes to fabricate stories about his past exploits and how crazy he is, but in actuality he is rather bland. His actions favor neither the good nor the evil, as he answers to a power that mortal men fail to acknowledge.

History: Born to a Banker, his mother struggled to pay the bills. His father was supposedly a charlatan fortune teller, but he insists his father was legitimate. Unlike his family, who was content to work in a sleepy main town, he wanted to work in the city. He has been working here for the past few years.

Motivation: He is compelled to act according to his religious beliefs; and his religion dominates his actions

History: Sold as a small child to a wizard, Theren was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. When money was particularly tight he was walking through alleys when he overheard a Detective hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. He made his way to the other competitor and parlayed his knowledge into a job. He routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.

History: Peren was raised in a hard working conservative environment. He helped his mother out around the business and became quite the natural. He inherited the family business which he has now maintained for 12 years.

Motivation: Wants to open a new tavern; and his spouse's relatives view him with great suspicion
