History: Aelar hails from a village terrorized by brigands. In his 10th year, his parents were killed by a brigands raid, leaving Aelar alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to brigands demanding more tribute than usual.

History: Born to a poor family in the city he treasured whatever gifts he got. Cursed with a spirit at a very young age, Hadarai has worked very hard to control his curse. He hopes to save up enough money to one day pay a cleric to cure him.
