His family was being driven out of business by several neighboring competitors. The mother sought out extralegal help and others began closing their doors. He saw this and took pride in his mother's willingness to do anything to win. He tends to his Jeweler job now, and dutifully fulfills any obligations he has.

History: Thervan was raised in a hard working conservative environment. His arcane abilities were realized during a raid on his village. He struck the Crown-heir job and began his own company from there.

History: He served in the navy to pay for his family's outstanding loans. His father was a soldier and died while he was still young. Erdan was left his father's suit of armor and trained in its use and care. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.

His hair is cut close to his head. His voice is smooth and creepy, always level, but somehow just slightly unnerving.

Personality: Berrian hangs on like a leech to those who appreciate him. It was this clingy personality that held back his painting career. As he has aged he has sought to do reparations for his actions as a youth. He is also making sure that his compatriots who never received punishment for their crimes are brought to justice.

History: Born in a small village he learned the ways of the warrior from his mother. His spouse left him for another, whom he beat to an almost bloody pulp. He did not win them back, but he came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. He has recently gotten a pet goose that steals things from people.

Motivation: He possesses a valuable artifact that the thieves guild wishes to steal.

He is ready at a moment's notice to give into his darker urges. He is a real pyromaniac and does not care who the fire hurts. He often ends up burning people alive in the fires he starts.

History: Trained by his mother for as long as he can remember he had it drilled in his head that it was his duty to serve his country. He moved out west to avoid the crime he committed. Recently he has begun working with bootleggers and crooks.

Motivation: He has comitted a past crime that haunts him to this day; and he feels that his past leaves him morally obligated to help
