History: When he was but 4 years old his parents immigrated from the west. When he came of age, he joined a caravan that would eventually take him to the capital. He would practice along the way and, when he arrived, be apprenticed to a Crown-heir. He now owns his own business.

History: He was raised happily, as a normal child born to his father and mother. Personality: He speaks before he thinks and is too direct. He will pursue extreme courses of action in the short term, confident that they cannot fail.

History: Sold as a small child to a wizard, Raer was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. His mother was supposedly a charlatan fortune teller, but he insists his mother was legitimate. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: He has a rivalry with the Church that dominates his actions; and his religion dominates his actions
