History: Sold as a small child to a slaver, Quarion was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. He was married off to the eldest child of a minor noble. His spouse died of illness and he inherited everything. He has set out to sabotage the competition.

History: He was born with several neurological imbalances, which makes sleep difficult for him. It may also be what makes him so good at details. Through the years after Azaki was born, his mother became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the east. Azaki's mother didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. He hasn't been sleeping well lately.
