Personality: He is a Hunter first and foremost. He believes firmly that knowledge should be universal. He is lazy, self-centered, vain, and jealous.

History: Lamlis was born into a poor family. Growing up, he dreamt of becoming a Sorcerer, to bring honor to his family’s name. When he came of age, he applied for a position with his town's local guard, looking to work his way up via merit and eventually become a Sorcerer in service of a powerful lord somewhere. Lamlis abandoned his home at a very young age, living in the fields and plains. He survived everyday through hunting and stealing from passersby. He did whatever it took for him to survive. He has drifted apart from his friends and has been working freelance. Each gave each other a copy of their signature longsword.

Motivation: His spouse's relatives view him with great suspicion; and balancing his hectic life and new hunter responsibilities is difficult

His partner is his best friend in the world. The two are very close despite being more or less each other's opposites. He does not trust anyone and sleeps with one eye open.

History: Efferil hails from a village terrorized by brigands. As a young adult he joined a group advocating for an improvement in Elven conditions. When he grew older, he became a bit more civilized, usually hanging around bars and taverns. He began work as a mercenary for hire. He would embark on any mission as long as the price was right.

Motivation: To reunite with his old friends; and he has passion for adventuring and risk

Personality: He hates Elves with a passion. As such he is filled with self loathing. He is submissive, is generally bored by everything, but will take part in whatever people ask of him. He is by nature obliging.

History: He was born with several neurological imbalances, which makes sleep difficult for him. It may also be what makes him so good at details. A freak accident while working with his Bather mother left him crippled. He remains aloof and afraid to be himself due to all the ideals others have placed upon him.

Motivation: Elven compassion; and a strong sense of loyalty to elven people

Personality: He runs his personal life as if detached from it. He organizes appointments and outings based on perceived benefits he will get from it. He will pursue extreme courses of action in the short term, confident that they cannot fail.

History: He was raised by priests from a young age. His father was supposedly a charlatan fortune teller, but he insists his father was legitimate. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: He has a rivalry with the Church that dominates his actions; and to prove his worth to the world

Personality: He is a pretentious jerk insisting that modern society is full of problems and should revert to a simpler time. He takes great joy in being the best Carter in town.

History: He was raised in a white middle class family as the only child. In his youth he was part of a gang. He got caught, but did not rat out his comrades and served his time in prison. He then took over the family business and is one of the better Carter for hire.

Motivation: To protect his home; and he is a bit of a kleptomaniac
