History: Raer was born with his mother's beautiful face. His parents divorced when he was young, and his mother gained full cudstody. He was regularly beaten by his mother, who blamed him for driving them apart. After a long history of fighting, Raer and his spouse have recently divorced.

History: Gifted from a young age, Varis studied abroad. He was an apprentice working in his father's forge. He has set out to sabotage the competition.

History: He was born in the west, but his parents moved at a very young age to the north. He always admired psionic-users and wanted to develop the talent, but never had the affinity for it. He was granted psionic powers by his dying brother.

History: He served in the navy to pay for his family's outstanding loans. When the war came and ruined his parents he was left adrift. He was a hard man then and has only learned to fight more as time goes on. He tends to his Seamstress job now, and dutifully fulfills any obligations he has.

Motivation: Find a way to reverse the transformation of his sister; and regain custody of his daughter
