History: Varis lived on a farm with his father, near the main road leading to a nearby town. He took every job he could get his hands on, but the opportunities for Elves in the west were limited. He has since lost track of the people in his past.

Description: He appears as an extremely gaunt Elf, and stands approximately 4'8". He is wearing dark clothing and a heavy breastplate, keeping many of his physical features obscured, and his gloved hand is found clutching a nunchaku. He keeps his auburn hair in a pixie cut. Judging by the bloodshot nature of his eyes and the massive bags underneath them one would imagine he has not slept for days.

Personality: He likes to brag about his accomplishments and constantly tries to beat others to the punch. He does not trust anyone and sleeps with one eye open.

History: He was raised happily, as a normal child born to his father and mother. His father taught him the rudiments of the Bowyer arts, while his mother instructed him in etiquette, music and courtly manner. When he came of age, he joined a caravan that would eventually take him to the capital. He would practice along the way and, when he arrived, be apprenticed to a Bowyer. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

Personality: He is highly sensitive about his name. He loathes it, but will not take any guff about it from anyone. He has no love for corruption and racketeering and views those as crimes of the highest magnitude.

History: He was born to a pair of big game hunters, but was frequently ill as a child. Cursed with a spirit at a very young age, Aust has worked very hard to control his curse. He has made many enemies by not giving into corruption and outing many instances of it.

Description: This fat northern man has a bulbous nose and wears an old set of leather armor, nicked and torn by the ravages of time and battle. His skin is also unnaturally pale. His wide-brimmed hat is riddled with cuts and holes. His blue eyes are passionate and lively.

Personality: He is intelligent and cunning, but he will too often allow his rage to get the better of him. He will lose his cool and rely on brute force to carry the day. His respect, as difficult as one would find it to earn, is unwavering; those who more than prove themselves to him, a bar set well above any reasonable standard, he tolerates in varying degrees. Though less modest and more hasty in his reactions to snap at those who irritate him, Arannis is combative with any and all who dare try his patience in the slightest.

History: Arannis hails from a village terrorized by goblins. His parents divorced when he was young, and his father gained full cudstody. He was regularly beaten by his father, who blamed him for driving them apart. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to goblins demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: Many goblins want him driven away; and revenge

History: He was born in the east, but his parents moved at a very young age to the north. He was a friend to animals and a trickster. In his defense of animals however he would do severe harm to people. He left for the east, certain he would find work there.

Motivation: He wants revenge against dire rats; and wants to work out more often
