Description: A man of a pale complexion, he likes to wear darkened spectacles and heavy clothing, no matter the weather. His auburn hair is long and unkept. His voice is smooth and creepy, always level, but somehow just slightly unnerving.

Personality: He tends to agree with only himself unless someone else's opinion sounds like he can profit from it. He tries to control his temper but he can't always stop himself from what he feels what must be done. He is stubborn though. He always likes to keep a trick up his sleeve. He likes to fight dirty and will kick and punch below the belt if he feels he even has a chance of losing.

History: He was born at the edge of vast island. He moved out south to avoid the crime he committed. As of late he has set up a hidden staging nest where he ambushes people he hires for escort.

Personality: While he is on the job, he is grim and serious. He understands how dangerous the world is and the need to stay safe. Energy wise he seems alert and responsive.

History: He was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of his parents. When he was little, his rather wealthy family often ventured across the plains to a summer home near a large cave. He would wander through that large cave and adventure through it for days. One day while adventuring a terrible storm took place and he was stranded inside. His family spent the next few days looking for him, and could only assume he was dead when it came time to leave. The family never returned to the plains due to the painful memories there. Laucian took refuge in the large cave and found the beat up longsword and armor he uses now. He now travels the world, in search of power and loot.

Motivation: Balancing his hectic life and new Detective responsibilities is difficult; and he wants to meet his childhood hero

History: He got into the Shepherd business at a young age. His homeland was ravaged by war and he spent much of his life rebuilding it. He hasn't been sleeping well lately.

Motivation: His spouse's relatives view him with great suspicion; and his relatives are trying to arrange a marriage

Description: Relatively heavier built than your average man, he is not imposing. He wears a lot of dark rich colors, with gold accents. His golden hair is kept up in a ponytail inside a feathered hat. This blue eyed westerner is not easily forgotten.

Personality: He is quite gentle and does not know the full extent of his strength. He works very hard to maintain that gentleness. To his fellows he is seen as friendly and intelligent, but is angry and unforgiving to the so called fatcats and any who do and have associated with them.

History: He comes from a rich western family. At a young age both his parents were killed in an accident. His uncle (a powerful person with enemies on both sides of the law) took him in and had him trained in basic self defense. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

Motivation: He is being blackmailed/forced/etc and this influences his actions; and many goblins want him driven away

History: He grew up in a lower middle class home, but living comfortably wasn't enough. He was an athlete and attended two major summer competitions. He never won. He was granted psionic powers by his dying brother.
