History: Trained by his mother for as long as he can remember he had it drilled in his head that it was his duty to serve his country. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. One night he noticed a nearby shooting star which he hiked out to see where it landed. It turned out to be an ancient artifact of some kind. He has done his darndest to repair it but it is currently non-functional.

History: He is the product a well kept family trust fund and as such has never really known need. Through the years after Thervan was born, his father became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the south. Thervan's father didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.

History: Nim was born the youngest of three triplets. His psionic abilities were realized during a raid on his village. He's since become an addict/alcoholic.

History: Paelias was born into a poor family. Growing up, he dreamt of becoming a Sorcerer, to bring honor to his family’s name. When he came of age, he applied for a position with his town's local guard, looking to work his way up via merit and eventually become a Sorcerer in service of a powerful lord somewhere.
