During his early adolescence, he took a sudden opportunity while working the docks and commandeered a vessel that was left unmanned. Due to his spouse's obsession with being a Butcher they were divorced and he won custody of their daughter. He worked as a Spice Merchant, and he later adopted a second daughter.
