History: Born in the south to a Tanner, Berrian learned a great deal about his mother's area of expertise. His mother was a mechanic, and taught him how to fix just about anything. History: He was born several months after his father was called into army service. Gennal was born on a far eastern mountains where he grew up under the tutelage of his father, an expert Animal Trainer. He moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

His respect, as difficult as one would find it to earn, is unwavering; those who more than prove themselves to him, a bar set well above any reasonable standard, he tolerates in varying degrees. Though less modest and more hasty in his reactions to snap at those who irritate him, Heian is combative with any and all who dare try his patience in the slightest.
