His uncle (a powerful person with enemies on both sides of the law) took him in and had him trained in basic self defense. He remains aloof and afraid to be himself due to all the ideals others have placed upon him.

History: He is a Jackalwere in disguise. He found a children's book about a Elf Sorcerer who fought for good and justice and never realised it was just a child's story. He modeled his life after the story, seeing himself destined a hero. He has gone from town to town till he finds a spot where he can set up a sustainable business.
