Description: He is lean but muscular and wears a tan vest with golden trim over his white shirt. His blue leather gloves and pants are well-kept, and his tan boots flare out at the collars. His broad hat is riddled with cuts and holes. He has amber eyes.
Personality: Here is a man who knows he is the smartest in the room. He talks down to others constantly. Despite his manner, he is extremely passionate and proud of his job, and he prides himself in being thorough and never missing a detail.
History: He was born several months after his father was called into army service. Through the years after Theriatis was born, his father became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the north. Theriatis's father didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. He struck the Ruler job and began his own company from there.
Motivation: Wants to open a new tavern.

Description: He is a small man, but exceptionally fit. He wears white robes with leather pauldrons. Though occasionally he wears more armor. He prefers to carry a crossbow, but if one is not available he will default to his shortspear. With bright golden hair and a scraggly beard. His eyes are a pleasant gray.
Personality: He is irascible and easily irritated. He is however greedy and will demand payment and proof of collateral's value and will produce a merchant's scale to make sure he is not cheated out of a speck.
History: He was born the only child of a wealthy merchant. In his formative years he discovered how persuasive he was. He began using that to his advantage selling useless wares at inflated prices. He has been a successful dealer in antiques buying low and selling high.
Motivation: He's repulsed by the PC; and he has a rivalry with the church that dominates his actions

Description: A middle-aged man, he wears tight fitting pants and leather jackets. He usually doesn't wear a shirt, and is pretty ugly. His hair is golden and curly. His face is feral with sharp distinguishing features. His spectacle hidden eyes are a deep green.
Personality: He considers himself a man of culture and sophistication. He likes a good challenge to his wits. He is cautious and jumpy. He reacts to every sound and lacks any concept of subtlety.
History: He was born to a pair of big game hunters, but was frequently ill as a child. From there he went from mercenary job to mercenary job. During his travels, Naal and his party rested in a cavern that was (unknown to them) infused with powerful dark magic. Upon awakening, Naal discovered the rest of his party dead, transformed into horrible, mindless undead versions of their former selves. Naal fled the cavern, stopping for breath at a small pool, and only then realizing his own horrible transformation.
Motivation: Several ex partners dislike his way of doing things and want revenge; and his name or reputation has been wronged in the past by orcs, and he desires to right it

Personality: He speaks before he thinks and is too direct. His actions favor neither the good nor the evil, as he answers to a power that mortal men fail to acknowledge.
History: Born in the west to a Guard, Lamlis learned a great deal about his father's area of expertise. His mother was supposedly a charlatan fortune teller, but he insists his mother was legitimate. He struck the Guard job and began his own company from there.
Motivation: He is compelled to act according to his religious beliefs; and sabotage a competitor

Description: This man is wearing a long, green, dusty cloak, and sports empty pouches on his belt. He wears a small hat to cover his moderate length black hair. His eyes are violet and catlike.
Personality: Aggressive, abrasive, and angry, Vanuath embodies much of what other species detest in the Elves. He loves teas. He is very sensitive about his face. To blow off anger he lifts weights and to control his otherwise explosive temper he works out a lot.
History: Born in a small village he learned the ways of the warrior from his father. Being born in the south, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the south for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way east. He has became unsatisfied with his lot in life, and decided to take up adventuring.
Motivation: Obtaining odd cultural Elven artifacts is his passion.
