Personality: He barks his statements quickly and with little fuss. He prefers small words and is at his heart utilitarian. He does suffer from mild PTSD, and the sight of illithids may trigger it at times.

History: He was raised in a white middle class family as the only child. Berrian liked to wander the woods near his home when he was young, something he still likes to do at least once a week. He never liked modest clothing or shoes, so he would wander the woods barefoot and lightly dressed, and he developed a good sense of balance and learned how to climb and swim well. Unlike his family, who was content to work in a sleepy main town, he wanted to work in the city. He has been working here for the past few years.

Motivation: His name or reputation has been wronged in the past by illithids, and he desires to right it; and he seems to be bored by most things

History: A child with a great deal of writing talent his parents made sure he got the chance to thrive. A freak accident while working with his Mason father left him crippled. He has never given up on his writing dream.
