History: Laucian was born with his mother's beautiful face. He went to a religious school and was inspired by the priests there in charitable deeds. He has been saving his money to try and buy his brother's freedom.

Motivation: He is being blackmailed/forced/etc and this influences his actions; and he possesses a valuable artifact that the thieves guild wishes to steal
