History: Sold as a small child to a necromancer, Heian was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. A few years later when the west was not economically sound they moved to his current location. He left for the north, certain he would find work there.

History: Ahvain was born to in a poor docking district. He spent his early days working in the same smith shop his father was employed at, doing general labor. One day when Ahvain was young, his father was sewing while trying to overcome the flu, when suddenly his father dropped to the ground dead.
