History: Berrian was raised in a hard working conservative environment. Being born in the north, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the north for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way east. By chance he met his brother recently and the two have been together since.

Personality: He takes his job very seriously, in part because he fears he cannot get a new one. His respect, as difficult as one would find it to earn, is unwavering; those who more than prove themselves to him, a bar set well above any reasonable standard, he tolerates in varying degrees. Though less modest and more hasty in his reactions to snap at those who irritate him, Rael is combative with any and all who dare try his patience in the slightest.

History: His parents moved while he was still in utero so he is the first generation to be born here. A few years later when the north was not economically sound they moved to his current location. He's also a talented Apothecary, but doesn't like to broadcast it.

Personality: He is quiet and unassuming. He ignores others and carries on with his job unassumingly. He spends most of his days drinking in the Inn, the rowdiest and most dangerous establishment in town. There he gambles, wrestles and listens to stories told by travelers.

History: He was born several months after his father was called into army service. A gypsy cursed him at a young age, leading to his ugly appearance. He became a Bather soon after.

Motivation: He is unsatisfied with his job.

Personality: He fancies himself a trickster and likes to rely on his wits to carry the day. He cares for his older siblings and likes to be recognized by them. He claims to be unscrupulous but at the end of the day he will do what he thinks is right.

Motivation: He is being blackmailed/forced/etc and this influences his actions; and his relatives are trying to arrange a marriage

Personality: A skeptical and narcissistic man, Carrie's first love is himself. His second love is also himself. He is accommodating to his spouse and as such limits his hospitality. He is brave and levelheaded in the face of danger and has proven himself a capable leader.

History: Carrie was born to in a poor docking district. He spent his early days working in the same smith shop his mother was employed at, doing general labor. At a young age both his parents were killed in an accident. His uncle (a powerful person with enemies on both sides of the law) took him in and had him trained in basic self defense. Being a Server kept his interest for a while, but then he became depressed and bored. So he turned to a secret life of crime, taking increasingly more risks and challenges.

Motivation: Regain custody of his son; and he feels the way he acts is they only way to get by in the world
