To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Quarion. He has drifted apart from his friends and has been working freelance. Each gave each other a copy of their signature scimitar.

History: He served in the navy to pay for his family's outstanding loans. In his 15th year, his parents were killed by a drow raid, leaving Naill alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.
